Shipping Information

We ship small items and rugs via UPS; UPS will not deliver to a post office box. Therefore, all orders must include a physical address. At this time we cannot ship to foreign countries or U.S. territories. All APO, FPO and DPO will be shipped via USPS.

Items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii are delivered by UPS with an additional charge of $40 per shipment.

Freight Damage

All items are inspected before they leave our warehouse and are packed with utmost safety. Shipments made by UPS are insured so please contact UPS at (800) PICKUPS for any questions about visible or concealed damage and filing a claim with UPS.

For freight damage on items shipped by truck you must note the damage on the bill of lading and get the driver to sign and date the bill of lading. Failure to do this will void any and all claims of damage. At that time please contact us at (800) 231-8698.

Oversize Items

Oversize furniture items and heavier artifacts (as noted in the description on the product pages) will be shipped by White Glove Delivery truck freight with cost depending on weight of the item and your zip code. Please contact customer service at service@tinninimports.com or at (800) 231-8698 for a freight quote on these items.

White Glove Delivery includes the following:

  • Delivery to room of choice, minor assembly, two men per delivery and debris removal.
  • There are additional charges for (a) waiting time beyond 15 minutes, (b) long carry beyond 150 feet from truck to home, (c) additional delivery if customer is not at home, (d) specific appointment day or specific time of delivery or (e) re-delivery.

Oversize items cannot be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii or to APO, FPO and DPO addresses or by using express shipping methods.

Additional Charges

The additional fee listed under an item description is a freight charge assigned to that particular oversized item. This fee is added to the regular shipping charges detailed in the chart above.

Express Delivery

For an additional $25 per order we offer Express Delivery (2-3 business days) for orders under $200. For orders of $200.00 or Express Delivery (2-3 business days) will be an additional $50. Your order must be placed before 10:00 am Central time Monday through Friday. No Express Delivery on orders outside of the contiguous United States.

Backorders

You will be informed by email if an item is backordered and given an approximate date of shipment.

Return Policy

General returns: Any item on our website (with the exception of furniture and oversized items as noted below) can be returned for a full credit as long as we receive the item back to Tinnin Imports 21 days from the day you placed your order. Shipping charges are not refundable and will be deducted from your credit. For a full credit on the merchandise, please follow this procedure:

Package item(s) in original packaging or in a way to ensure safe and secure transportation such as at The UPS Store or FedEx Store. Include a copy of your invoice and send to: Tinnin Imports, Attention: Returns, 2089 Lakeland Drive, Jackson, MS 39216.

We will inspect the return and issue a credit on the same credit card that you used to make the original purchase.

Please make sure that you ship the item back so we receive it within the 21-day window.
We will not refund any merchandise received more than 21 days from date of purchase.

Furniture and Oversize returns: We will accept returns on furniture and oversize items that are in their original condition, but outgoing shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refundable and will be deducted from your credit. For full credit on a piece of furniture, please follow this procedure:

  1. Contact Tinnin Imports within 7 days of receiving your item. You may contact us at 800-231-8698 or via email returns@tinninimports.com so that we can arrange for the item to be shipped back to our warehouse. We must be contacted within the 7-day window or we will not be able to honor the return.
  2. We will arrange to have the item picked up at your specified location using the most efficient shipping method and an assigned freight company will contact you to coordinate pickup.
  3. The piece will be picked up and returned to our warehouse where we will inspect it and issue a credit accordingly. Damage or other issues related to use or condition may require deductions from your credit, so please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that the piece has been wrapped and protected as well as possible.
